Portrait Drawing Workshop Any member of the community interested in learning to draw portraits is invited to attend a portrait drawing workshop at Brush High School. This class requires no prior experience and is open to students of all experience levels. The Class will be taught by Joe Marler the art teacher at Brush High School. The classes will be held every Thursday in October, from 4 - 5 p.m. in the BHS art room (parking will be in the north parking lot). There will be a $5 materials fee for the class. In the class we will learn How to simplify the face into shapes to make it easier to draw How to put the features in the right place so that your drawing looks like the person you are drawing How to make the face look three dimensional using shading Anyone interested in attending contact Joe Marler via email at j.marler@brushschools.org
Parent Information Night: Sexting Prevention On Monday, October 3, 2016, Brush High School will be hosting a parent, guardian and community member information night about Sexting Prevention. The information will be presented through a cooperative effort among the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department, Brush Police Department, Fort Morgan Police Department and representatives from the 13th Judicial District. The presentation is for adults only. The presentation will start at 6:00 p.m. and will last approximately one hour.
